Trail Classes
Trail Master Certification Class
Trail Design Specialists’ Trail Master Certification Class will cover the latest advances in trail design, construction and maintenance with a focus on long term sustainability and ease of maintenance. Participants will be provided with a detailed booklet specific to each segment of the course. Topics will include how to properly design and lay out a trail, how to avoid erosion and other environmental issues, how to handle user conflicts, proper construction techniques, how to rehabilitate existing trails, and a host of other topics. The course will include both classroom learning and hands-on practical trail experience.
The Trail Master Certification Class is $400 per student and is conducted over a four-day period. We offer a $25 per student discount if three or more participants from the same organization attend. The Trail Master Certification Class is limited to 16 participants. Classes conducted off-site are $450 per student plus expenses.
Mechanized Machine Training Class
We also offer Mechanized Machine Training Class, which will include various tools and machinery, including Ditch Witch® training, along with proper safety guidelines. This class is limited to six participants. The cost is $300 per student for this two-day long course.
